Garry Cross

Versatile Garry Cross signed from fellow Essex side Chelmsford City before the start of the 2005/6 season. Started his career at Southend United before signing for Slough. Very comfortable on the ball, he was a real crowd favourite at Chelmsford scoring more than ten goals a season from midfield. Made his Thurrock debut in the 3-1 win at Maidenhead and scored his first goal in the 5-0 away demolition of Weston Super Mare.
