Glenn Poole has left Thurrock to join up with local rivals Grays for an undisclosed fee.

Midfielder Poole who joined Thurrock from Redbridge in November scored 13 goals in 25 games and quickly became a crowd favourite.

Colin McBride said 'It is always blow to lose someone of Glenn's ability but he now has the chance to go full time and we would never stand in a players way. Although am happy with the squad, if someone becomes available that I feel can improve us I will
have a look at them'
