The Carthium Group sign three-year deal - The
Football Conference are delighted to announce that The Carthium Group will be
the title sponsor of the new cup competition. The
Carthium Cup is a brand new competition, introduced this season, which
incorporates all 66 member clubs of the extended and restructured Football
Conference. Title sponsors The Carthium Group are one of the largest suppliers of windows, doors, conservatories and glazing components in the UK, with an annual turnover of circa £140million. The
Carthium Group's three-year sponsorship of the competition, which will be played
on a regional basis in the early rounds, is the largest for a cup competition
outside the FA Cup and Football League cup competitions. Football

FA Cup draw We have been drawn away to Halstead Town of the Ridgeons Eastern Counties League Premier Division. the game will be played on the 2nd of October. Colin said that he believes that a change would be a benefit to both the player and the club.
Fixture change We have rearranged the away fixture at St Albans from Saturday the 9/10/04 to Friday the 8/10/04 due to the England v Wales game. Hodges Signs Lee Hodges has today signed a contract to stay at Thurrock until 2006. The 26 year old winger who has seen service with Bristol Rovers, Rochdale, West Ham and Southend has been very impressive since joining us during pre-season scoring our first goal in the recent Isthmian Charity shield win over Canvey Island. Paul had been with us for just over a season in which he won the Bryco Cup, The Essex Senior Cup and supporters player of the year as well as helping us reach the first round of the FA Cup and third in the league. |
