Thurrock FC News FA Cup forth qualifing round After our 6-0 victory over Spalding Utd we have been rewarded a home tie against Oldham Athletic of League One (that the second division to you and me) The full draw can be found here FA Youth Cup As well as the recent success that the first team has been having in the FA Cup, the under 18's have also been progressing in the FA Youth Cup. Following thier recent 2-1 victory against Buckingham Town, they have been drawn home to Wealdstone in the third qualifing round. The game will be played on Tuesday the 26th of October and kick off is 7.45pm. I'm sure the lads would appreciate as much support as possible Fixture changes We have arranged three fixtures, the league game against Bishops Stortford, originally scheduled for Saturday the 30th October will now be played on Tuesday the 16th November. The two cup games against Hornchurch will be played on Tuesday the 2nd of November (Carthium Cup at Hornchurch) and Wednesday the 10th of November (Essex Senior Cup at Ship Lane) Essex Senior Cup Draw We have been drawn at home to Hornchurch in the third round of the Essex Senior Cup. completed on or before the 13th November 2004 FA Cup fourth qualifying round We have been drawn at home to Spalding United in the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup Spalding Utd's website can be found here FA Youth Cup The under 18's youth side have been drawn at home to Buckingham Town in the next round of the FA Youth Cup, the game will be played on Sunday the 17th of October at Ship Lane. The under 18's beat Witham Town 3-0 in the previous round. Free Travel The club has announced that they will be providing free coach travel to anyone who wants to go to the FA Cup tie at AFC Wimbledon on Saturday. Please e-mail to confirm numbers or phone the club on 01708 865492. The Coach will be leaving from the club house at around 12.30. Please register at the club office on the above number. Places will be available on a first come first serve basis. FA Cup draw We have been drawn away to AFC Wimbledon of the Ryman first division. The game will be played on the 16th of October. The England game will be shown in the club and is sure to create a great atmosphere why not come down and watch both! |
