Thurrock FC News Playoff details Date's for the play off's have been decided, we will play at 3.00pm on Bank Holiday Monday at home unless we have to play Eastbourne then the game will take place at 7.30pm on Tuesday the 3rd of May (as they have to play 4 games in 8 days), as Eastbourne can still finish above us we are not clear of the venue as yet. The Southern Final will be play on Saturday the 7th of May 2005 at the home ground of the Highest placed side with a 3.00pm kick-off, and the North v South Final will be played on Sunday the 15th of May with a 1.00pm kick off. *******Play off update******* After Eastbourne drew with Bishop's Stortford tonight, we have secured third place in the league, this guaranteeing us a home tie. The game will be played on Tuesday the 4th of May, to avoid any confusion. Jimmy Wins Again Jimmy McFarlane has won the supporters player of the year award for the second time Jimmy, who has been in inspirational form this season, beat Steve Heffer (second) and Glenn Poole (third)
Ground Grading We have been awarded a B ground grading which means that we are able to play in the Conference South playoff should we qualify. Tommy South had been busily putting in new seats over the far side of the ground to ensure that we had the required number by the deadline.
The far side of the ground is now completely covered and seated up to the halfway line. The seats were bought 7 years ago from Cardiff Arms Park, before it was turned into the Millennium stadium. Prices for 2005/06 Thurrock have announced season ticket & entrance prices for next season Match day entrance will be £9 for adults, £5 for concessions and £1 for children. Season tickets are priced at £160 Adult, £85 Senior Citizen, £85 Student's and £20 for under 16's
