Thurrock lost to Dorchester with a limp performance, failing to muster a single shot on target in the entire match. Craig O’Connor and Steve Harper both missed the target with first half shots and Glenn Howes and Jamie Brown both wasted first half chances for the visitors.

Brown gave Dorchester the lead after 50 minutes with a near post header from a corner. Thurrock never looked like equalising although Adam Parker and O’Connor had half chances to equalise. Thurrock also lost debutant Mark Janney to a late injury to compound their misery.
