Purfleet 1 Hayes 2

HAYES LATE SHOW WINS THE DAY

The first half saw Fleet continue where they left off Saturday with some good pass and move football.
Hayes defence was the busier and it was a case of when Fleet scored. It came after 21 minutes.
Jon Keeling chased a ball, which looked to be a lost cause, but his pace enabled him to keep the ball in play. He found Lee Allen who delivered a good cross for Tresor Kandol to fire Fleet into a well deserved lead.

The rest of the half saw Fleet try in vain to extend their lead but it was not to be.

It was a case of total reverse in the second half as the visitors took the initiative and went looking for an equaliser. It was a long hard half for the Fleet defenders and it wasn't until the last quarter of the match that the lead was lost.

Almost inevitably the visitors secured all three points late on to leave Fleet without anything to show for their first half dominance.
